about

A tantrum of anthems spanning from one-off jingles to handheld memo recordings, coupled with no-fidelity tape sessions, acoustic buffoonerism, and a wry squandering of any potential musicality by possibly including too many unabashed and maybe kind of stupid holler-mantras. While hardly an epic journey, Sentient reads like a ballet taking place in a basement next to the catbox, which it did, minus the slippers but all about the semi-self awareness required when conflating the words callus and callous.

released September 9, 2014

Recorded for the most part using a shoebox tape recorder missing its erasehead. Sentient was originally released as a c32. Sisto baked us the cake in the photo a few years later.
